Portfolio Analytics - Now live for Traders

Veranta Team

As power users of DeFi and onchain perpetuals, we realized that there’s a level of detail that’s consistently missing from DeFi protocols’ portfolio pages. Part of the reason for this is a deliberate obfuscation of trading PnL, and the other reasons include the relative nascency of onchain finance, and the complexity involved in tracking onchain data. With Veranta, we’re changing that, by giving as much detail as possible to our traders.

Today, we’re excited to release V1 of our trader porfolio page on testnet beta. Whitelisted traders can see their trade history, PnL, and several other analytics on https://veranta.xyz. Here’s what our portfolio page currently offers:

1. PnL and Volumes: View your cumulative and daily gross PnL, total return, as well total volumes on the platform.

2. Asset Analytics: Go deeper into asset level performance, including win rates (“what % of your trades are profitable”), cumulative PnL and volumes by pair and asset class.

3. Portfolio Stats: Average PnL per trade, overall win rate, total trades, total fees paid, and loss protection rebates received.

4. Positions and Activity: See and manage your active positions, and track your historical activity.

5. Share: Trading should be social! Share your historical and top trades directly from the portfolio page to Twitter and other social channels.

This is only the beginning. We’ll be closely listening to our traders and actively iterating via UX testing, while adding novel features like predictive analytics in the future. If you’re already a testnet user and want to provide feedback, please reach out on Discord!
